What is a TrackMan driver fitting?
A TrackMan driver fitting is a data-driven evaluation of how your current driver is performing for your swing. Using TrackMan iO launch monitor technology, we measure club speed, ball speed, smash factor, launch angle, spin rate, carry distance, and total distance across multiple shots. The data tells us whether your driver's shaft, loft, and head are optimized for your swing — or whether a change could unlock more distance.
How much does a driver evaluation cost at NeoGolf?
Driver evaluation is complimentary (free) for NeoGolf members and $50 for the public. The 30-minute session includes bay time, full TrackMan data capture, and a review of results with Allan Martel, PGA.
What's the difference between a driver evaluation and a driver fitting?
A driver evaluation tells you how well your current driver is performing relative to your swing characteristics and tour-average benchmarks. A full driver fitting (available through specialized club fitters) involves testing multiple shafts, heads, and loft combinations to build a custom club. NeoGolf's evaluation helps you decide whether a full fitting is worth pursuing — and if so, what specs to target.
How do I know if I need a new driver?
Common signs your driver isn't optimized: your smash factor is below 1.45 (inefficient energy transfer), your launch angle is below 10 degrees or above 17 degrees (spin loss or ballooning), your spin rate is below 1,800 rpm or above 3,000 rpm (distance loss), or your carry distance is 10+ yards below what your club speed should produce. A TrackMan evaluation at NeoGolf will identify any of these issues in about 10 swings.
What should I bring to a driver evaluation?
Bring your current driver and any other drivers you're considering (including a friend's driver if you want to compare). Wear normal golf attire — no spikes required on our mats. The evaluation takes about 30 minutes and we'll send you a copy of your full TrackMan report afterward.
Do you sell drivers at NeoGolf?
NeoGolf is not a pro shop — we don't sell clubs directly. Our driver evaluation focuses purely on the data. If the evaluation indicates you'd benefit from a new driver, we'll refer you to a trusted full-service club fitter on the Gulf Coast or help you pick the right model based on your TrackMan numbers.
